Artistic tips for Myself to Remember:
- when you WANT to work on art, but seem to lack motivation. Don't force out a drawing just because you "feel like working on art". Motivation is one of the biggest ingredients of Creativity. Even though you think you're in an artistic mood, the lack of creativity fuel will DESTROY your work and probably depress you and make you feel that you lack artistic talent.
- 98% of the time, its better to wait until you have some inspiration. that way you can really focus on a piece of art. If you try to chop an idea out of a piece of wood you will probably ruin it before you even see any glimpse of it.
- A good source of inspiration: unusual conversations with random people.
